6" x 17" x 1" Painted pine board with 10 galvanized screws to mount under your standard mailbox. I have been installing mailboxes for customers for years and can never find the right sized wood to mount under the mailbox which is necessary for mounting on our Cast aluminum Prestige or Scroll brackets. You have to buy a length of wood which is only 3/4" thick, and then rip it down to the 6" to fit under the box. Plus the 3/4" thickness doesn't seat well when screwing the box on. It takes a full 1" thick board. I now make my own and stock extras for customers who are installing their own.
